The Research Institute at Nationwide Children Hospital (RINCH) is an international leader in pediatric research. It enjoys a rich history of exceptional funding support from the National Institutes of Health, science is thriving at Nationwide Children’s, despite grim economic conditions. Gallagher had worked with the Institute on variety of projects. Specifically, Gallagher worked with the President and his senior staff to develop the strategic direction for the organization. The process included key stakeholder interviews with hospital and organizational leaders, donors and medical staff. Gallagher facilitated a retreat for the senior management and helped develop final recommendation for the board of directors.
Result
The leadership session helped the Institute with its successful quest to drastically grow the organization and strategically position it as a best-in-class operation among pediatric research institutions.
